Idle Forms: Visual Stimuli as
a Stress-Regulation Aid

Idle forms is my master thesis from Aalto University. This thesis explores how visual design can help ease stress in everyday life. Through practice-based research, I created a series of animations inspired by fractal geometry, soothing motion, color psychology, and human-preferred natural environments. The work combines theory and artistic practice, offering ideas for designers interested in creating more restorative visual experiences.

The thesis includes an animation reel
and a book.
